About Evie

evie estes, pci certified parent coach® & founder of
parent 4r future

Evie Estes has worked with many conscientious parents of children ranging in age from 3 months to 14 years old who are experiencing a variety of challenges, pressures and personal/family situations. She has the most experience with supporting parents of toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school age children but has particular hands-on knowledge of coaching parents of gifted and/or strong-willed children. Evie has more than 350 + coaching hours’ experience and has found this vocation to be extremely meaningful, impactful and fulfilling (visit the testimonials section to get an idea of what Evie’s clients are saying about her and the coaching process). Evie’s educational background includes  a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University. After many years of working with parents through a variety of capacities, she officially became a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, the only comprehensive academic one-year, graduate-level program in the country through a collaboration with Seattle Pacific University. Evie had her first article published in the February 2011 issue of The Parent Express, a monthly e-zine of The Parent Coaching Institute.

She has completed certification as a ScreamFree Parenting Leader with plans to implement classes based on Hal Runkel’s ScreamFree Parenting Principles. Evie has facilitated a parent workshop series for 8 years,  to hundreds of local parents, based on the Faber-Mazlish book, “How To Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk.”

Evie feels its important to keep fit as a life style choice & enjoys running, power yoga & boot camp.  Evie is also the founding publisher of Hulafrog Cincinnati Eastside, a wonderful web guide & go-to resource parents use for local family & kid-friendly events, goods & services. She has been a volunteer at Pregnancy Center East for more than 5  years, teaching parenting classes to young moms experiencing unplanned parenthood and remains active in their church and at the children’s school.

Evie and her husband of 20 years Ed, reside in Cincinnati, Ohio and  are currently the parents of one boy and two girls, ages 13, 12 and 9. The Estes Family volunteers together at the local League For Animal Welfare, a no-kill shelter for cats and dogs.  Evie also co-chairs her parishes’ efforts to help local families in need by co-ordinating, preparing and serving meals at The Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen.

Evie listens with a compassionate ear and is forthcoming with her personal parenting mistakes and triumphs. She believes that there is no perfection in parenting, but that we can plan, be proactive and strive to grow and improve with  purpose-filled goals.  Her company, Parent 4R Future embraces the ultimate importance of our jobs as parents to shape the future of humanity, while raising the next generation with more  joy, confidence, determination and appreciation.

She wants to make a difference in the quality of your family life and inspire you to plan and reach for your dreams mindfully everyday.
